Capture-Supported Classrooms all have the latest Camtasia Relay Client software installed and the microphones in the room are connected back into the computer that is provided. Only HENZ 124 currently has audio connections for laptop/notebook computers.

The Opencast Pilot Project--A Higher Ed Open Source Alternative

 

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a part of the Opencast Community, and actively developing Matterhorn along with other institutions from around the world.

In short, the Opencast Community is an umbrella for different projects, one of which is the Matterhorn Project. Matterhorn is an open source software project that will enable educational institutions to record, archive, and distribute content.
